Privacy Policy

Account information. When you sign up, we process your email address and the authentication details needed to create and secure your account.

Website information. To build your website, we process the answers you give in the onboarding questionnaire and the editor — for example your business name, description, services, location and contact details — together with the generated website content and your edits.

Uploaded content. Images, logos and other files you upload are stored privately and are only served publicly through your own published website.

Analytics. For each published website we count page views, unique visitors, referring sources and device types. We use this to show you how your website performs. This data is aggregated and is not used to profile individual visitors.

Payment-related information. When you subscribe to a paid plan, our payment provider Paddle processes your payment and creates your subscription record. We process your plan, subscription status, billing period and usage limits. Launchly does not receive or store your full card details — payment card information is handled entirely by Paddle as the merchant of record.

Support messages. If you contact us or submit a form through the service, we process the information you send so we can reply and resolve your request.

• to provide the service — building, editing, publishing and serving your website (performance of our contract with you);
• to manage your subscription, enforce plan limits and handle billing (performance of contract and legal obligations);
• to secure accounts and prevent abuse, including verifying domain ownership (legitimate interests);
• to show you analytics about your own website (performance of contract);
• to answer questions and provide support (performance of contract and legitimate interests).

We only share the information necessary to run the service, with the following categories of providers:

• Hosting and database providers who store account, website and content data;
• AI providers who process the text you provide in order to generate website content;
• Paddle, our payment provider, which processes subscription payments and acts as merchant of record;
• Domain infrastructure providers where you connect a custom domain, to verify DNS ownership and issue certificates.

We do not sell your personal data. We may disclose information where required by law or to protect the rights and safety of Launchly, our customers, or others.

We keep your account and website data while your account is active. If you cancel a paid subscription, your data stays in your account. If you delete your account, we delete your account, websites, uploads and related data. Some records, such as billing records, are kept as long as required by tax and accounting law.

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. You can exercise most of these choices directly in your account settings, including deleting your account. For anything else, contact us at hello@launchly.app and we will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law.

We protect your data with encrypted connections, access controls and row-level database rules that keep every account's data separate. Payment credentials are never stored by Launchly. No system is perfectly secure, but we work continuously to keep your information safe and will notify you of any breach affecting your data where legally required.

We may update this policy as the service evolves. Material changes will be announced through the service or by email, and the "Last updated" date above will always show when the policy was last changed.
